Brian Dean, CIPP/US, has served as a chief privacy officer, HIPAA officer, GLBA officer, regulatory liaison and senior IT project manager.His expertise includes risk management, strategic planning, resource management, project management, software development and implementation, vendor management and process reengineering. Before joining SecureState, Dean served as senior vice president and chief privacy officer at KeyBank, and prior to that was in technical support and IT development at Lexis-Nexis.
Dean's involvement in professional organizations includes the ISACA, the Financial Services Roundtable Government Affairs Council, the Association for Computing Machinery, IEEE and the IAPP.
Dean received a BS in computer science from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
