About the IAPP

Latha is an Information security and Data privacy professional with around 14 years of experience. Starting her career with information security, she has moved towards specialization in Data Privacy. In her career, she has worked in various projects relating to data protection & privacy compliance. She has been pioneering in helping the organizational teams achieve privacy compliance from practical, operational, and legal perspective. Being one of the early entrants in the privacy profession she has been instrumental in creating and managing privacy programs in IOT domain. Presently she is working as a Privacy Specialist at Intel Corporation and primarily takes care of complex privacy requirements helping the development teams understand and imbibe privacy at the design phase.

Latha holds Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science domain and is CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) certified. She holds other esteemed privacy and security certifications that include CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
