Blair Witzel
Blair Witzel has worked as a senior consultant in health for 17 years and in health information privacy for 11 years. His work focuses on governance, program and policy development, and privacy impact assessments in health information.
Past highlights include privacy program development and implementation for Ontario’s electronic health record, former member of Canada’s Health Informatics Association (COACH) Privacy and Security Experts Group responsible for the 2013 Guidelines for the Protection of Health Information, and working with dozens of healthcare organizations in strengthening the privacy of their health information programs and initiatives.
