Jorge Allende is a licensed attorney before the Lima Bar Association, an expert in intellectual and industrial property; Data Protection, competition, advertising and consumer protection law, with 20 years of experience both at a national and international level. He is one of the managing partners at the Law Firm of Allende & Garcia.



Jorge obtained his J.D. from University of Lima and earned an LL.M. degree from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois.



Jorge is member of the Lima Bar Association, where he is an arbitrator for Intellectual Property matters; the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP); the Peruvian Association of Intellectual Property (APPI), where he is the Secretary of the Board; the Inter American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), where he is the President of the Data Privacy Committee; the International Trademark Association (INTA), where he is a member of the Data Privacy Committee, and the European Community Trademark Association – ECTA, where he is a member of the Geographical Indications Committee.  



He is also an Adjunct Professor for Industrial Property, Communications Law and Advertisement Law and has written several articles and participates in various conferences as a speaker.
