Sylvie Gaskin is a proven & trusted strategic partner and team player with more than 25 years experience providing consultative advice to senior executives, provincial, national and international partners and technology vendors, healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals, cross functional teams, consumers and patients. She is a passionate, innovative and results focused healthcare executive with specific expertise leading privacy, quality and enterprise risk management programs in the healthcare and digital health space.

Sylvie’s career has included key roles with the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Hôpital Régional Sudbury Regional Hospital.

As a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Canada with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and former Director Privacy and Risk for OTN, she has been a Champion for ‘By Design’ innovative and pragmatic approaches to privacy compliance and risk management that protect individuals, corporate reputations and brands, remove barriers and build trust.

Sylvie and the OTN privacy program was singled out to receive the 2011 Hewlett Packard – International Association of Privacy Professionals (HP-IAPP) Privacy Innovation Award in the small organization category awarded in Dallas, Texas.
