About the IAPP

Orla is an associate with Womble Bond Dickinson. She was born in Ireland, educated in the US and EU, and worked for the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin and Washington, DC. She helps clients manage cyber security and data privacy risks. Orla advises clients on the collection, use, sharing, and transfer of data across international borders, including compliance with the GDPR and the EU-US Privacy Shield.  She serves on Womble Bond Dickinson’s GDPR Compliance Task Force working closely with her EU colleagues on cross border privacy issues. Orla also works in the area of marketing and advertising.
