Elizabeth Denham


Former UK Information Commissioner

Elizabeth Denham CBE served as the U.K. Information Commissioner from 2016 to 2021. In that role, she drafted the Children’s Code under U.K. law. Today, she is a Trustee on the Board of 5Rights—a foundation that advocates for young people’s digital autonomy and safety—and an international advisor to Baker McKenzie’s Data & Technology practice. Denham’s term as Chair of the Global Privacy Assembly spanned 2018 to 2021.
