Zeynep Tufekci is an associate professor at  the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a faculty associate with the Harvard Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. Her research revolves around the interaction between technology and society. Her last book, Twitter and Tear Gas: The Power and Fragility of Networked Protest was published by Yale University Press. She is currently working on a book about Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Society.
