About the IAPP

Chuck Cosson is Director, Legal Affairs for Privacy & Data Security for T-Mobile US, based in Bellevue, WA.

Chuck helps T-Mobile US with privacy compliance, legal advice on transactions, strategy, investigations and data security, and related public policy and communications work.

Before coming to T-Mobile in 2011, Chuck was Senior Policy Counsel at Microsoft Corporation. Chuck played a key role in Microsoft's communications and citizenship initiatives, including helping to launch the Global Network Initiative and the US-China Internet Industry Forum.

Chuck earned a B.A. from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, and a J.D. from the George Washington University law school.
