Kris Miller is a Principal Engineer at the MITRE Corporation, a not-forprofit technology consultancy that advises the United States (US) federal government. Kris’s practice focuses on cyberspace security, strategic planning, multinational information sharing, and data protection and privacy compliance. 

Kris has had the privilege to serve as trusted advisor to senior government executives in the Department of Defense, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Veterans Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security. These matters span the breadth of US federal law and international regimes, including the European Union. 

Before joining MITRE, Kris practiced corporate law, focusing on public and private company formations, governance, mergers, and acquisitions. Before that, he served as an officer in the US military with assignments in Asia, Europe, and Africa. 

Kris is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with qualifications in US private sector, US government, and European privacy regimes. He is also a certified Strategic Management Professional.
