Nicola Regan (McKilligan) is senior partner with the Privacy Partnership in London. She started her privacy career in the late 1990s working as a strategic policy and international officer for the UK Regulator, liaising with the Article 29 Group and the Europol JSB. Since 2000 she has been leading global project teams in privacy related roles as a consultant and has also held in house roles as Head of Privacy for British Gas and Vice President Privacy for Thomson Reuters. McKilligan has represented the UK at the ISO on data privacy and co-authored the British Standard for Personal Information Management. She was also founder of The Cyber Ethical Life, a think tank advising businesses and individuals on dataethics.
