About the IAPP

As director of training, Marla oversees the development and delivery of the IAPP’s training products, including privacy and data protection and AI governance training.

Marla has nearly 20 years of experience working in technology, having worked in both publishing and software development, and has experience in project and program management. She earned a BS in mathematics and BA in studio art from the University of New Hampshire and is a Certified Information Privacy Technologist.

In her free time, Marla plays drums in an alternative rock band. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband.
