About the IAPP

William B. Baker is a partner in the Potomac Law Group, PLLC, in Washington, D.C. He participated in many of the FCC proceedings to which this article alludes, although not the Net Neutrality proceeding itself.



He has practiced for more than thirty years in the areas of communications, privacy, information law, and marketing communications and is a frequent author and lecturer on privacy matters.



Bill is a Certified Information Privacy Professional-US and has served as Budget Officer for the American Bar Association's Section of Science & Technology Law and co-chair of the Washington, DC, chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals' KnowledgeNet.
