About the IAPP

Stephanie Schmidt (CIPP-US)  is currently Global Chief Privacy Officer, at Prudential Insurance Company of America, based in Newark, NJ.   In her role, Stephanie provides strategic guidance around the governance and application of Privacy Risk Management strategies, for Prudential’s global operations. Prior to her current role at Prudential, Stephanie has held various positions across other control partner disciplines in Internal audit, Risk Management, and Financial Management, partnering with the businesses to assess, test and implement control frameworks.
