Nathalie Laneret – Capgemini Group Data Protection Officer, CIPP/E - CIPM
 
Nathalie Laneret holds a post graduate degree in European Law from Robert Schuman University (Strasbourg, France) and an LL.M degree in American law from Duke University School of law (Durham, USA). She is admitted to the New York and Paris bars.
 
Before joining Capgemini, she practiced as an IT and data protection attorney with a French law firm for three years. In 2003 she joined the 3M group as a senior legal counsel where she specialized in contracts, competition law, compliance matters and litigation. 
 
She joined Capgemini Group Legal Department in 2011 to work on compliance, data protection and competition law matters. She was appointed Group DPO in 2015 to manage the global data privacy compliance program and Capgemini’s global network of DPOs and privacy professionals. She received the approval of Capgemini’s Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) for controller and processor in February 2016. She is also the chair of the BCR Working Group and a member of the task force of the Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers in Europe (CISPE) Code of Conduct. She regularly speaks at conferences in France and Europe on privacy and security matters.
