Guillermo, is an experienced lawyer in Digital Compliance who leads the Jones Day’s Latin America Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice in México. Guillermo advises Fortune 500 companies concerning investigations and evaluations of international relevance relegated to corruption, money-laundering, data management and cyber incidents. He advises boards of directors on issues related to strategic planning as well as crisis management, fiduciary duties, conflicts of interest, data preservation, and corporate governance best practices. He has addressed an array of data-driven concerns, including international transfers, breaches, cloud computing contracts, e-commerce, and the development of technologies such as IoT, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies.
