About the IAPP

Debra Danisek currently serves as the associate director for privacy compliance reviews at the Department of Homeland Security Privacy Office. Danisek specializes in federal government privacy compliance and manages the privacy compliance review process of high-risk, high-profile privacy sensitive programs for the Department.She haspreviously served on both the compliance and information sharing teams within the DHS Privacy Office and the Department of State Privacy Division. She is also the co-chair of the Identity Management Subcommittee of the CIO Council Privacy Committee.



Ms. Danisekholds a Bachelor of Arts in political science fromMiami University (OH) anda jurist doctoratefrom The Ohio State University and remains an avid Buckeyes fan.
