Debra Bromson
Debra Bromson is Assistant General Counsel, AAA Club Alliance Inc., where she is the lead lawyer providing legal, compliance and business advice relating to Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, E-Commerce, Social Media, Marketing, Business Innovation and Government/Public Affairs.
Debra was previously Head of Global Privacy and Senior Compliance Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As Head of Global Privacy, she was responsible for developing and implementing the global privacy program and advising on privacy-related matters, including cybersecurity issues. As counsel, her primary areas of responsibility have focused on information technology contracting and data security, and pharmaceuticals marketing. Previously, Ms. Bromson was Senior Counsel, Commercial and Privacy for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP where she had over 10 years of experience in the privacy area.
Ms. Bromson was the recent Secretary of the ACC Health Law Network, and is an active member of Association of Corporate Counsel and the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and is a frequent speaker on privacy for both organizations as well as the Privacy & Security Forum, Bloomberg Law and at other privacy and health related conferences. She is a Board Member of DMAX Foundation, which provides mental health support for college students.
Ms. Bromson received her AB from Cornell University, her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and an LLM in taxation from NYU School of Law.
