Keith Cheresko, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP
Keith A. Cheresko is a Principal of Privacy Associates International LLC. Prior to joining PAI he was a member of the legal staff at Ford Motor Company.
During his 26 year tenure at Ford, he held an assortment of legal assignments. With the parent company these assignments included Trade Regulation, Diversified Products Operations, and Corporate Privacy Office departments of the Office of the General Counsel. He also served at Ford Motor Credit Company, Ford’s finance subsidiary, including Legal Office assignments in the International and North American Auto Finance sections.
Mr. Cheresko is an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and holds Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) credentials.
Mr. Cheresko is also a Ponemon Institute Fellow and a longtime member of the Ponemon Institute’s Responsible Information Management Council Advisory Board. He is the State Bar of Michigan Information Technology Law Section Council Chair as well as a founding member and Co-Chair of that Section’s Privacy Law Committee. Mr. Cheresko is a member of the Board of Directors and Immediate Past President of the Detroit Chapter of ISACA. He is a member of the Board of Directors of InfraGard Michigan Members Alliance Inc., the Michigan chapter of InfraGard, where he currently serves as President.
Mr. Cheresko received a BA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a JD from Wayne State University and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
