About the IAPP

Michael Pascu is an experienced Manager at INQ Consulting specializing in artificial intelligence and data governance. He has extensive experience providing advisory services on AI strategy, governance, risk management, and data ethics for Canada's public sector, education, financial services, and insurance sectors.

Before joining INQ Consulting, Pascu was a key member of Deloitte Canada's Omnia AI practice, supporting organizations across diverse industries with operationalizing responsible AI. He played a pivotal role in growing Deloitte's Trustworthy AI offering, assisting clients in enhancing their AI governance capabilities and complying with emerging AI law. At Deloitte, Pascu led and delivered projects on AI and data governance, data strategy, and organizational design.

Pascu holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Queen's University.
