Nitin is a Privacy Engineer at Snap Inc., where he specializes in the intersection of emerging privacy-enhancing technologies for AI and data protection. In his previous role as an Applied Scientist at Amazon, Nitin contributed to enhancing privacy measures for Alexa.

As a Commonwealth Scholar, Nitin completed his doctoral degree from the University of Oxford, focusing on privacy-preserving and equitable machine learning. His research and engineering work revolves around privacy-aware machine learning and conducting meticulous privacy audits for machine learning models. Nitin actively dedicates his efforts to designing secure private computing protocols, employing PETs such as Secure Multi-Party Computation, Federated Learning, and Homomorphic Encryption.
