Maya A. McKenzie is Counsel of Technology Policy at The Entertainment Software Association, the trade association representing video game console makers and publishers. Maya leads state and federal policy development and legislative advocacy on consumer protection issues, including data privacy, trust & safety, subscription services, and artificial intelligence. Prior to working at ESA, Maya was a privacy associate specializing in regulatory and transactional matters at DLA Piper and Paul Hastings. Maya received her B.A. in Political Science from Alabama State University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
