About the IAPP

Jonah is based in Toronto and is the head of Liberty GTS’ transactional risk practice in Canada. Jonah has extensive experience as a corporate lawyer both in-house and in private practice having advised internal and external clients across a range of sectors including financial services, life sciences, technology and FinTech.

Prior to joining Liberty GTS, Jonah was in-house counsel at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) providing strategic advice and guidance on RBC’s enterprise M&A and innovation activity. Prior to RBC, Jonah spent four years at Torys LLP where his practice focused on cross-border mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. Jonah holds a JD degree from Queen’s University and is admitted to the bar in the Province of Ontario.
