About the IAPP

Jasper Hau is an investigator of the PIPEDA Compliance Directorate at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC). He has a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in law and business from the University of Warwick.

Jasper is passionate about privacy issues surrounding deceptive designs and the digital economy. Prior to joining the OPC, Jasper worked as the Secretary General for a non-profit organization in Hong Kong, whose aims included providing legal education and advocacy training to teenagers. In his spare time, Jasper sometimes likes to read up on jurisprudence and sociology.
