Steve Wood

Steve Wood worked for the UK Information Commissioner's Office for 15 years and as Deputy Commissioner from 2016 to 2022. He served as Chair of the OECD Working Party on Data Governance and Privacy from 2019 to 2022. After leaving the ICO, he founded PrivacyX Consulting, which advises organizations on complex and novel digital policy issues. Wood also acts as a Special Advisor to Allen and Overy and is a Visiting Policy Fellow at Oxford University Internet Institute.
