Director, International Affairs, Policy and Strategy, and Communications

Marianne Niessink is Director of International, Strategy, Policies and Communications at the Dutch Data Protection Authority since January 2018. Before that she worked at the Ministry of Justice & Security as deputy director for Legal and Operational Affairs and as head of the department of International Affairs and Legal Aid in criminal cases. Before she joined the Ministry of Justice & Security she was a chief inspector at the Dutch police force. She studied Dutch law.
