About the IAPP

Joseph McKinney is a Senior Counsel at FedEx and a member of the Global Data Privacy team. Joseph oversees enterprise training and awareness for data privacy and policy lifecycle management, leads data processing agreement negotiations, assists with incident response, and provides general data privacy advice and counsel to FedEx business units.

Joseph, native Memphian, graduated from Rhodes College and the University of Memphis School of Law. Prior to joining FedEx, Joseph was a civil litigator in Dickinson Wright’s Nashville office before returning home to begin his in-house counsel journey at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
