Kathryn Young is a privacy professional focused on the intersection of data privacy, information security, and risk management. Experienced with privacy engineering and deeply passionate about consumer protection, Kathryn has worked in both the healthcare and technology sectors to identify data flows, strengthen data governance and promote Privacy by Design principles. In 2022, she graduated from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont with her Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and International Cyber Law. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) Privacy, Policy, and Law affiliate group, and is actively studying for her CIPP/US certification.
