Diana Hidalgo Woodie works as Privacy Legal Counsel for the Americas at Cognizant. In her role, Diana advises on data privacy compliance under data security and privacy laws in the American continent.
She has more than 10 years of experience working for multinational companies in fields such as technology, aviation, e-commerce and energy, and regional law firms as well. Prior to joining Cognizant, she founded her own legal firm focused on providing corporate services related to privacy, intellectual property, and e-commerce legal compliance.
She completed her law degree and obtained her license in El Salvador and has a Master in Foreign Trade by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master of Laws by INIDEM Business and Law School. Languages: Spanish and English.
