About the IAPP

Michelle has been with IBM for 24 years and is currently a Program Director leading IBM’s Privacy and Responsible AI Market Strategy within the Office of Privacy and Responsible Technology. She has held many positions in her career at IBM as a business transformation leader. She has joined the Office of Privacy and Responsible Technology in 2017 to lead IBM’s Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) readiness program and has been instrumental in shaping IBM’s own Integrated Governance Program. Michelle’s current focus is sharing IBM’s own compliance and governance journey and demonstrate how AI Ethics and Governance are key market differentiators and a must have for the adoption of AI at scale. Michelle owns an AI Governance Professional certification from IAPP.
