Patti Hageman is an experienced attorney who works at the intersection of strategic leadership and the law. She currently serves as Associate Director of The Cordell Institute at Washington University in St. Louis. The Cordell Institute, a collaboration between the University’s law school and school of medicine, seeks to reimagine how ethics and regulations can be synchronized with technological advancements and the use of human information.
Patti served for 13 years as general counsel to the City of St. Louis, Missouri. She holds decades of experience in administrative and regulatory law as well as civil trial and appellate litigation. She also is experienced in nonprofit leadership and previously ran the Pro Bono Program at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. She has served on numerous professional and community boards and commissions, including the Missouri Bar Board of Governors. She holds a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Business Management from Bradley University.
