About the IAPP

Kei has vast experience in digital law, corporate law, and intellectual property. Among his main activities, Kei has been providing companies and clients with legal advice in data protection and privacy matters and assisting them in complex contracts negotiations, especially in licensing, technology transfer, franchise / retail chains, distribution and research and development agreements.

Kei worked as an in-house counsel lawyer, in a secondment role, for companies in the technology, infrastructure and pharmaceutical sectors.

Graduated in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and in History from Universidade de São Paulo. Post-graduated in digital law and data protection from FGV-SP. Concluded extension courses in Japanese law from Meiji University and in industrial property law from the Japan Patent and Trademark Office and Asia-Pacific Industrial Property Center.
