About the IAPP

Amber Cordova is a senior director in the T-Mobile Privacy Office. She leads the team responsible for crafting the T-Mobile privacy compliance framework and policies. Her team continually improves the customer facing Privacy Center, works with the business to develop data governance and technology compliance standards, conducts privacy by design reviews and implements CCPA/CPRA and other new privacy laws. They also advise the advertising, international, and HR teams. Amber is passionate about building privacy programs that work for customers and business partners.

Prior to joining T-Mobile, Amber led AT&T’s GDPR compliance program and helped launch the AT&T Mexico privacy program. Amber loves mentoring and works to expand our diversity as a profession. Amber holds a Juris Doctor from University of Colorado School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University – Pueblo and her CIPP/US and CIPP/E. Amber lives in Dallas, TX with her husband, two toddlers, and their dog Scooby.
