About the IAPP

Maya McKenzie counsels clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues related to privacy and data security.

Maya's experience includes preparing internal and consumer-facing policies and procedures and developing privacy-focused programs compliant with U.S. and international laws, including CCPA. She also advises clients on privacy and data security matters in the context of corporate transactions, working with clients to identify potential risks in an acquisition, whether buy or sell side. In addition, Maya maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes work on nonpartisan election protection initiatives.
