Anokhy Desai is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served as the lead executive editor of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law and Policy. While in law school, she focused on privacy law through various publications for the local and state bar associations; via research about surveillance through cookies, election privacy, and the need for a comprehensive federal data privacy law; and by completing a master's degree in information security policy and management at Carnegie Mellon University.

Prior to law school, Anokhy worked in cybersecurity consulting and information management, both roles that immersed her in the overlapping worlds of cybersecurity and privacy. In her free time, Anokhy enjoys baking and digital art.
