Erik Boucher de Crèvecœur is an information technology expert at CNIL, the French data protection authority.

With 20 years of experience in software development, quality and security management, he is involved in the compliance checking of data processings subject to authorization or control by CNIL. 

He also participates in the development of the various tools proposed by CNIL to carry out GDPR "Privacy Impact Assessments", in particular for IoT devices, and regularly hosts training sessions on this subject.

As a representative of CNIL, he takes part in several working groups in charge of defining privacy and security standards for the French eHealth sector, as well as international standards for privacy management, such as ISO/IEC 27701.
