Aline Fuke Fachinetti is a Brazilian lawyer. She specialized in data privacy projects and is the first Brazilian woman to be recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy by the IAPP.



She spent several years working at a Big 4 consulting firm on privacy and data protection matters before becoming an in-house data protection counsel. In 2018, she worked for a brief period in projects involving digital law and European data protection legislation in London, United Kingdom.



In Brazil, she is the vice-president of the Digital Law and Compliance Commission of the 17th subsection of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). She teaches LGPD courses (e.g., at the Brazilian Bar Superior School) and writes on data protection and information law topics. Her book on the LGPD was featured at the Notable Privacy and Security Books from 2020. She also enjoys raising awareness on privacy through fun and engaging methods, such as the free printable “LGPD Board Game”.



Aline is the Co-Founder and Director of the NGO Juventude Privada, a socio-educational non-profit in Brazil dedicated to raising awareness about privacy, data protection and digital citizenship to children and teenagers.



Aline is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and holds the CIPP/E and CIPM certifications.
