Rachel Masterton, CIPP/E

Rachel joined the ODPA in June 2013 and deputises for and supports the Data Protection Commissioner. Her role includes oversight of the regulation and enforcement function of the ODPA and leading international partnership work. Her role on the senior leadership team includes contributing to strategic planning, development and governance.
Rachel began her career in data protection with eight and a half years at Guernsey Police as their data protection and information security officer, prior to joining the ODPA. In June 2018, Rachel completed an Master’s degree in Information Rights Law and Practice with the University of Northumbria.
