About the IAPP

My name is Candice Thomas, and I am Senior Corporate Counsel for an international telecommunications and IT services provider where I support the HR, Privacy, and Litigation functions. My undergraduate degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Ohio University. I received my Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. I am also a Certified English-Spanish Translator. In addition to my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and reading.

Fun Fact: I spent three years working at an orphanage in Honduras after undergrad.
