About the IAPP

Jason Wai is a Privacy Manager at TELUS where he supports the Health and Payment Solutions lines of business for overall privacy governance, including product and service design. This includes the EMRs, Pharmacy Management Solutions, Health Benefits Management, Adjudication and Claims Management, Employer Solutions, Payment Solutions, Public Sector, Clinical Care (Medisys Health Group), and Virtual Care (Akira Health) teams. Prior to joining TELUS, he worked as a consultant and as a privacy coordinator at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Jason received his law degree from the University of Calgary and his Bachelor of Engineering Science and Bachelor of Arts from Western University.
