About the IAPP

Diana Lee is the Canada Chief Privacy Officer for Equifax and is part of Equifax’s Global Data Privacy and Protection Office. In her current role, Diana is establishing a formal Canada privacy office to implement the global privacy framework in Canada and to maintain oversight over the collection, use, disclosure and retention of Canadian personal information by Equifax Inc.

As a privacy lawyer in the past, Diana served as in-house legal counsel where she drafted submissions to privacy regulators for the Insurance Bureau of Canada and advised on privacy matters for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School.
