Jean Lessi
Jean LESSI est né en 1982. Il est diplômé de l’ENA (Promotion 2007-2009 « Willy Brandt »), de l’Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Master affaires publiques) et de l’Université Paris-II Panthéon-Assas (Licence de droit). Au Conseil d’Etat, il a occupé successivement les fonctions de rapporteur à la section du contentieux, puis à la section sociale, de responsable du Centre de recherches et de diffusion juridiques et enfin de rapporteur public à la section du contentieux (1ère chambre). En 2013, il a été secrétaire général de la Commission pour la transparence financière de la vie politique jusqu’à la création de la Haute autorité pour la transparence de la vie publique. Il exerce depuis mai 2017 les fonctions de secrétaire général de la CNIL.
Jean LESSI was born in 1982. He graduated from the ENA (Promotion 2007-2009 "Willy Brandt"), the Paris Institute of Political Studies (with a Master’s in public Affairs) and the University Paris-II Panthéon - Assas (with a Law degree). At the Council of State, he successively held the positions of rapporteur in the litigation, then in the social division. He was the head of the Centre for research and dissemination of legal information and finally public rapporteur in the litigation division (1st chamber). In 2013, he was Secretary General of the Commission for the financial transparency in politics until the creation of the High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life. Since May 2017, he has been Secretary General of the CNIL.
