Welcome, speakers

Thank you for contributing to the IAPP AI Governance Global North America 2025. To help ensure the success of your session, please see these important instructions.

Marjorie Boyer, programming and speaker coordinator, will be your main contact at the IAPP during the event life cycle. Please reach out to Marjorie if you have any questions.

Conference venue: The Westin Boston Seaport District, 425 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210, Tel: +1 617.532.4600.

Speaker registration: You will automatically be awarded a complimentary pass to the event and registered as a speaker by IAPP staff. Your conference pass is eligible for all programming and events happening on Thursday and Friday, 18-19 September. If you are speaking on a workshop, your pass will also include your workshop on Wednesday, 17 September. If you would like to add a training or workshop to your registration (additional cost), please contact Marjorie Boyer at mboyer@iapp.org.

Dietary accommodations: Options will be available for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. To let us know if you will be partaking in any of these options, request a kosher or halal meal, or indicate other dietary needs, please contact speaker coordinator Marjorie Boyer at mboyer@iapp.org by 29 August.

Speaker presentation template: All speakers using a presentation must download and use the IAPP AI Governance Global North America 2025 presentation template.

 

Important deadlines

Due now: Check the online schedule to see your session date and time.

Due now: Send us your headshot and a brief biography if we do not already have this on file.

23 July: Attend the speaker orientation web conference. You will receive an invitation with additional details from Marjorie.

25 July: Deadline for initial planning call with your co-panelists and chairperson.

8 August: Send draft presentations to your chair/speaker coordinator.

5 September: Send final presentation to your chair/speaker coordinator.

Additional programming information
Need to make a change to speakers or presentation content? It is important to run it by us. Changes must be approved by IAPP to uphold the quality of our agenda and keep our publications current. Please contact Marjorie immediately if you need to make adjustments.

Speaker workroom

This space is just for speakers — your home away from home. Print your presentation notes, meet the on-site speaker manager and get your questions answered in person, meet with your co-panelists for coffee and a snack, or work quietly.

The workroom is available during the following hours:
Wednesday, 17 September, 08:00-16:30
Thursday, 18 September, 08:00-16:30
Friday, 19 September, 08:00-15:45
