Erin Soyoung Park is Managing Counsel, Privacy at Datadog, where she leads the Privacy Legal team and manages privacy compliance across product development, commercial negotiations, and privacy operations, with a particular focus on AI and data governance and U.S. regulated industries. Prior to Datadog, Erin served as Privacy Product Counsel at Google, where she advised cross-functional compliance and product teams on global privacy and digital regulatory compliance. She began her privacy career at Wilson Sonsini and Arnold & Porter, advising companies on complex data privacy matters and technology transactions.



Before moving to the U.S., Erin practiced intellectual property law in Seoul, Korea, counseling global technology companies and luxury fashion brands. She holds an LL.M. with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a J.D. with distinction from Korea University Law School. She also studied at Sciences Po Paris and Wharton. She is admitted to practice in New York and South Korea, and is CIPP/US, CIPP/EU, and AIGP certified.



Erin lives in Manhattan where she enjoys road cycling, surfing, and trying new restaurants. She is a native speaker of English and Korean and a lifelong learner of French and Mandarin.
