Elizabeth Allen, CIPP/US

Liz Travis Allen is an attorney at the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA), America’s first stand-alone privacy regulator. She provides analysis, design, and authorship of regulations for the Agency helping to establish the regulatory framework for privacy protection in California and beyond. She also serves as lead product counsel on several tech products developed and deployed by the Agency, including spearheading implementation of the novel Delete Act – a next generation “Do Not Call” registry for personal information.
A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with a J.D. from University of Washington and B.A. from Dartmouth, Allen previously advised Fortune 500 companies and startups at a boutique privacy firm. Her tech industry experience spans major platforms including Airbnb, Clever, Josephine, and Wonderschool, where she navigated complex privacy and policy challenges at the intersection of law and innovation.
Licensed in Washington and California, Allen is at the forefront of creating privacy protections that don’t yet exist— helping transform how companies handle personal information in the digital age.
