About the IAPP

Sarah West is Senior Counsel in Google's Content Regulation team. Her role covers content-related regulatory engagement across EMEA, with a particular focus on the U.K. Online Safety Act. She has been involved in much of Google's Online Safety work in the U.K., including consultation responses and compliance implementation. Prior to joining Google, she was at Baker McKenzie for 13 years, where she was a senior litigator in the Dispute Resolution team, covering a range of commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
