About the IAPP

Funke is a privacy leader responsible for management and oversight of the TD’s privacy compliance program within Europe and APAC region. With over 20 years experience in financial services and insurance industry, Funke has an extensive understanding of compliance, auditing, and regulatory reviews. Being passionate about data rights and how the law evolves to support businesses alike, Funke focuses on operationalising data protection regulations and delivering data protection and privacy programs. Funke holds a Masters of Law degree in Data Protection and Intellectual Property with the University of Law, UK. She also has a bachelor’s degree from University College Dublin and a postgrad Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA). She has been a member of the IAPP since 2018 and earned the CIPPE, CIPM and FIP certifications.
