About the IAPP

Andrea Calleia is the Director of Learning at Salinger Privacy, where she manages the firm’s program of privacy-related training, professional development and learning for their clients.

Andrea has extensive experience in the learning and development field, and she has specialised in privacy-specific training since 2003 when she managed the privacy education program for the NSW Privacy Commissioner’s Office. Since joining Salinger Privacy in 2008, Andrea has developed and delivered customised privacy training on behalf of clients including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, QANTAS, Sage Software, and PRAXIS Australia.

Andrea addresses Salinger Privacy’s offerings across public training programs, webinars, online training and the development and delivery of tailored in-house training. She also conducts learning needs analyses for Salinger Privacy’s clients, who come from government, the non-profit sector and businesses across Australia.

Salinger Privacy is an Official Training Partner of the IAPP, and in this capacity Andrea delivers CIPM training on behalf of the IAPP.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Education and Human Resources, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.  She is an alumni of the University of New South Wales, and as such is a Mentor for students specialising in the fields of Human Resources and Learning and Development. She is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), a Certified Practitioner of Human Resources with the Australian Human Resources Institute, and a member of the Australian Privacy Foundation.
