About the IAPP

Amber Gosney is Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Technology segment, based in London. She has over a decade of experience implementing global data regulations and has led large, complex regulatory programmes with special focus on life sciences and support for clinical trials. She has expertise leveraging technology to solve client challenges, including data breaches utilising machine-learning technology, global data privacy remediation programmes, mergers and acquisitions reviews, anonymisation programs, DSARS, and other matters. She is a barred attorney in the District of Colombia and the state of Maryland and has a CIPP/E data privacy certification. Amber also has expertise with the implementation of technology solutions for privacy also known privacy enhancing technologies (PETs). She is also a member of FTI’ Consulting’s AI Governance Team to develop focused policies and procedures addressing AI risks.
