About the IAPP

Dr. Zsófia Körmendy is responsible for regulatory and legal affairs at Finsbury Glover Hering in Europe. In addition, she also holds the roles of data protection and information security officer. Finsbury Glover Hering is a leading global strategic communications and public affairs consultancy, helping clients navigate complex environments.

With 16 years of working experience in the field and with C-level at leading national and global companies across many cultures, both in management and consulting roles, she has very strong intercultural competence.

She has three academic degrees in Law (Dr. iur.), Business Administration (MSc) and Technology Management (MBA). In addition, beside her four IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, and FIP) she also holds several other certifications in the field of information security (CISM, CRISC, and ISO 27001 Information Security Officer) and internal audit (CIA).

With an emphasis on continuous learning, she has also obtained a coaching certificate and successfully completed a post-graduate course in Communication at the University of Cambridge.

Outside work, she is a passionate sportswoman, world traveler and mother of 5 children.
